How Our Pickup and Delivery Service Works
Laundry Place makes laundry day effortless with a simple step-by-step process.
Schedule your laundry pick up on a date that works for you. Specify your preferences for detergent and softener. Also, let us know what items you want hung.
Place your laundry and dry cleaning in separate bags. Set your items out at the desired location indicated in your preferences.
At your scheduled time, our staff will arrive at your home or Business to collect your laundry and dry cleaning directly from your doorstep.
Your items are washed, dried and folded or hung at our facility using well, maintain machines and careful handling from our staff.
Laundry is returned on the date you desired, fresh, clean, and neatly organized, ready to put away.

When do you offer pick up and delivery?
8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.
What is the turnaround time for pick up and delivery?
Next day. Laundry picked up Monday through Friday will be delivered back the next business day.
Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum amount that you can send in. However, there is a $45 minimum fee.
How much does pick up and delivery cost?
$2.39 a pound for as needed customers. $2.29 for customers that are on a reoccurring schedule.
Do I need to be home when the driver picks up or delivers my clothes?
No, you can leave your Laundry in a secure location (front porch, back porch, behind a fence, in an unlocked garage) just make sure to note it when you place your order, so our driver knows where to find it.
How do I schedule an order?
It is simple! Just click on the “Schedule a Pick Up” button in the upper right hand corner and create an account. It only takes a few minutes to input your information, and you can place an order for weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed services. You can also call into the store, at 757-961-0105, and schedule with one of our friendly attendants.
Can I make a special request on how I want my laundry done?
Absolutely! When you place your order online there is a section called preferences where you can specify things you want done every time that we do your laundry. There’s also a section called special laundry instructions where you can ask for something for this order. For instance, if you want us to spot treat a stain on one of your items.
Is there a contract or long-term commitment?
No. You never have to sign a contract, and you can stop service at any time. We know that you will stick with us based on our excellent service.
When I schedule an order, how will I be billed?
Like other online services, we ask for your credit card when you place your order. Your card will not be billed until your laundry is completed, weighed, and ready to be delivered.
What do I put my laundry in?
Place your laundry in a kitchen or lawn and leaf bag. At the completion of your first order, we will provide you with an orange laundry bag, for future use. If you have dry cleaning, we will provide you with a black dry cleaning bag.
Can I put my Pick Up on hold while I’m on vacation?
Yes, you can suspend your pick up until you return from vacation.
